The best preparation for teaching environmental science is a BA degree or an equivalent Honours degree in environmental science. Courses can be chosen in consultation with a Faculty of Education adviser if necessary. 24 credits in the teaching subject area must be completed prior to enrolling in ED/INDS 3901E 6.00.

As a first teaching subject, you must complete six full-year (or equivalent) courses from the teaching subject area. Candidates must complete a minimum of three credits taken from a geoinformatics thematic area.

As a second teaching subject, you must complete four full-year (or equivalent) courses from the teaching subject area. Candidates must complete a minimum of three credits taken from a geoinformatics thematic area.
