(BBA) /International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA)
Choosing Schulich means joining one of the most
prestigious undergraduate programs in Canada. Our two undergraduate
programs offer students a challenging and rewarding full-time course
of study. Our students develop critical and analytical skills and
acquire a solid foundation in business concepts. Admission to the
BBA and iBBA programs requires both high academic achievement and
demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities.
BBA: A Business Degree with
the Option to Specialize
This highly successful program provides a thorough,
rigorous program in management. The BBA will hone your leadership
abilities, entrepreneurial capacity, and interpersonal and communication
skills. By carefully selecting management elective courses, you
can specialize in one or more areas of business. You can apply to
begin the first year of the program directly from high school or
the second year of the program after one year of university study.
iBBA: A Business Degree
with a Global Perspective
The iBBA lets you immerse yourself in international
business studies and travel. The iBBA's demanding curriculum includes
the rigorous core business courses of the BBA program with courses
in such areas as world geography and political science. iBBA students
also complete three years of study in one of the languages offered
at York - French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin,
Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.
Top-notch Professors
In both the BBA and iBBA programs you will study
with the same professors who teach in the School's highly respected
MBA and PhD programs. These men and women bring the latest developments
in approaches to management to the classroom through their professional
activities and research.
The Learning Environment
Our programs are limited in size so that you
will receive the attention necessary to fully realize your potential.
We use a variety of teaching methods including case studies, small
group discussions, and lectures.
Study Abroad
In the BBA program you will have the option of
studying outside Canada for one or two semesters during your third
or fourth year. For iBBA students, an international exchange is
a required part of the program. All exchanges are at one our partner
institutions - leading management schools around the world. iBBA
students can also choose to join a four-week International Study
Tour to three countries after second year.
Get Practical Experience
While You Study
Class discussions, case studies and extracurricular
activities: Our students are active in a number of clubs and organizations
so that they can learn as much outside the classroom as within.
We will give you the skills and exposure needed to win management
positions.
Summer Internship Program: Job postings available
only to Schulich students on the School's Web site connect our students
to employers for summer internships which can lead to full-time
positions after graduation.
iBBA internships: iBBA student are encouraged
to seek internships abroad and may be granted university credit
for the experience.
The Schulich Career Centre
The Centre provides career days, workshops, and
company information sessions. It also posts openings for part-time,
summer and full-time employment on its Web site.

95% of our 2000 graduates were employed with
