Family Studies (Intermediate/Senior only) Courses must be chosen in consultation with a Faculty of Education adviser or the subject course director. First Teaching Subject Candidates must complete 36 credits in family studies courses or courses having a family focus in psychology, sociology, anthropology, social sciences or humanities, such as: AP/ANTH 2170 6.00 or 36 credits with a combination of family focus courses across psychology, sociology, anthropology, social sciences or humanities and up to 18 credits from early childhood education, health studies or fashion studies, such as: HH/KINE 1020 6.00 Second Teaching Subject Candidates must complete 24 credits in family studies courses or courses having a family focus in psychology, sociology, anthropology, social sciences or humanities, such as: AP/SOCI 3660 6.00 or 24 credits with a combination of family focus courses across psychology, sociology, anthropology, social sciences or humanities and up to 12 credits from early childhood education, health studies or fashion studies, such as: HH/KINE 1020 6.00
