Physical Education Intermediate/Senior: Candidates with physical education as a first teachable must take 36 credits and as a second teachable must take 24 credits. First teachable candidates will take 15 credits and second teachable candidates will choose nine credits from the following: HH/KINE 2031 3.00 All candidates must choose an additional nine credits from the following: HH/KINE 2475 3.00 Candidates will take eight practicum (PKIN) courses; one each from the six core areas, plus two electives from any area. The six core areas include: Aquatics (200), Dance/Gymnastics (500), Team Sports (300), Individual and Dual Sports (400), Emergency Care (700), Track and Field (600). Junior/intermediate: Candidates with physical education as a teachable must take 24 credits as follows: Candidates will choose nine credits from the following: HH/KINE 2031 3.00 Candidates will choose nine credits from the following: HH/KINE 2475 3.00 Candidates will take eight practicum (PKIN) courses; one each from the six core areas, plus two electives from any area.
