School of Social Sciences Program Requirements Students majoring in social science must select their courses from the disciplinary areas offered through the School of Social Sciences (geography, political science, social science, sociology and urban studies). In addition to the core course, a student must take six credits from three different disciplines offered by the School of Social Science.
