Commencing in the Fall of 2001, the Faculty of Science and Engineering offered a new Engineering Program, leading to an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc [Honours]) degree. After completion of a common first-year program, students will choose one of four streams: computer engineering, engineering physics, geomatics engineering or space engineering.
ii) All BASc (Honours) degree candidates must complete twelve non-science general education credits (see General Education Requirements in the Faculty of Science and Engineering Regulations Governing Undergraduate Degree Requirements section of this calendar). Three of these credits must be ES/ENVS 2150 3.00.
iii) All BASc (Honours) degree candidates, in accordance with their declared stream, must satisfy the academic standing and course requirements below.
To proceed in each year of the BASc (Honours) program requires a minimum cumulative credit-weighted grade point average of 5.0 (C+) over all courses completed.
To graduate in the BASc (Honours) program requires successful completion of all Faculty requirements and program and stream required courses and a minimum cumulative credit-weighted grade point average of 5.0 (C+) over all courses completed.
A non-credit, four to 16 month internship program (registered as SC/CSE 3900 0.00) is highly recommended for all computer engineering students, but is no longer a degree requirement.
