Faculty of Education Students' Association
The Faculty of Education Students' Association (FESA)
is the official student government serving over 1,500 York pre-service
teacher candidates in Consecutive and Concurrent programs across six Faculties,
at two campuses and ten consecutive sites. The first Faculty-based student
government, FESA is committed to the enhancement of the University experience
and the promotion of teachers to be. FESA represents teacher candidates
on the central student government, on Faculty council and related committees,
and to the University administration. Moreover, FESA organizes social,
professional and academic activities that form the foundation of the education
student community. FESA also publishes a practical handbook and a topical
newspaper. The Association Executive Office and campus office is in N833A
Ross, 416-736-2100, ext. 88779.
