Visiting Student
York University will consider for admission individuals

International students are welcome to apply as
visiting students to the "Canadian Year Abroad" program. For further
information on this program, please contact the Office of International

Provisional Student
In very exceptional circumstances, the University
will admit an individual on a provisional basis, for a period not
exceeding one academic year (normally in anticipation of admission
as a degree candidate). Such provisional status is granted at the
discretion of the University and on the basis of the bona fide presentation
of sufficient grounds to sustain a reasonable presumption of an
applicant's ability to complete the requirements for a degree or
certificate.
