Reappraisal of Final Grades
Examination
scripts and class records of students are carefully assessed, especially
in marginal cases, and there is little likelihood of the original
standing being changed on appeal. In the case of final examinations,
however, a formal written request for recalculation or reappraisal
of a final grade may be made to the academic department/division
which offers the course. Requests for grade reappraisals must be
submitted within three weeks of the release of final grade reports
in any term, and must state clearly why the student believes that
the final grade deserves a higher rating. Recalculations and reappraisals
are dealt with by the Chair/Director of the department/division
in consultation with faculty members.
