Certificate in Environmental Landscape Design
BES
students may earn a Certificate in Environmental Landscape Design
(ELD) as part of their program. Students in ELD focus their study
on the relationships between urban and natural environments. The
program emphasizes design as an innovative and interactive practice
to critically intervene in the social and environmental reclamation
of urban landscapes, places, sites and ecologies. Lecture courses
and studio workshops examine the social, experiential, political,
ecological, artistic and technological aspects of ELD.
