Geography

Subject to course approval by the Geography Department, beginning in September 2002, all candidates taking ED/GEOG 3040/3050 will be required to have completed a course in Geomatics.

Bachelor Program:

Two of:
  • AS/GEOG 1000 6.0, AS/SC/GEOG 1400 6.0, AS/SC/GEOG 1410 6.0;
  • At least 3 credits (one half course) "regional" above the 1000 level;
  • At least 6 credits (one full course) "systematic" above the 1000 level;
  • All other courses to be above the 1000 level.

Honours Program:

  • AS/SC/GEOG 1400 6.0, AS/SC/GEOG 1410 6.0, AS/SC/GEOG 2420 3.0 and AS/SC/GEOG 3420 3.0;
  • At least 3 credits (one half course) "regional" above the 1000 level;
  • At least 6 credits (one full course) "systematic" above the 1000 level;
  • All other courses to be above the 1000 level.
  • Some upper level Environmental Studies courses may satisfy Geography requirements.
